Craig Anderson has been the Commander for the Minnesota EMS Honor Guard since the inception of the Honor Guard in 2002. Craig entered EMS in 1975, serving as an EMT for the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Squad. In 1978 Craig started working for Smith Ambulance, which is now known as Allina Health EMS. During his time at Allina Health EMS, Craig worked as an EMT, Paramedic, and Community Paramedic. Craig intends on retiring in March of 2015. Craig was instrumental in the creation of the Honor Guard. Craig has also represented the Honor Guard as a Presenter at the 2012 National EMS Memorial Service as well as key honor guard representative for the National Memorial Service.
